A portrait that doesn’t just represent you. It recognizes you.

Whether you’re here for something professional or something more personal, this is where we begin.

Black and white portrait of a woman wearing glasses, a dark blazer with embellishments, and jewelry including a heart-shaped pendant necklace and hoop earrings, resting her chin on her hand.

You.

You don’t arrive here by accident.

Maybe you need a portrait — something polished, professional, something that represents you well.

Or maybe it’s something harder to name.

A feeling that you want to see yourself differently…..more clearly…..more fully.

You've likely been thinking about this for a while. Maybe a long while. You've saved photos, started drafts of inquiry emails you never sent, told yourself you'd do it when you lost the weight, or finished the project, or felt more ready. But you're ready now. Maybe you just needed someone to say it.

The women who find their way to me aren't a type. They're in their 30s, their 50s, their 60s. They're CEOs and artists and mothers and women between chapters. Some want something sensual. Some want something powerful. Some just want to finally see themselves the way the people who love them do. What they have in common is that they all know there's a version of themselves that hasn't been photographed yet.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to feel confident yet. You just have to be willing to show up.

Me.

I create portraits that feel like you. Something elevated, intentional, and honest.

Whether you’re here for a professional image or something more personal, my role is to guide you into a space where you’re not overthinking how you look…..you’re in it. I direct every session, so you’re never left guessing.

I have been photographing women since 2009 and in that time I have seen things that changed me. Women who walked in terrified and left transformed. Women who had never once looked at a photograph of themselves without flinching — and then suddenly did. Women who came in for someone else and somewhere in the middle of it realized they were doing it for themselves.

I built a practice in Las Vegas that I was proud of. Then life did what life does. In late 2022 I walked away from everything (my business, my city, my belongings, my entire constructed existence) to go sit with my mother while she was dying. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and also, somehow, the most clarifying.

I came to New York City in 2024, carrying everything I had learned and nothing I no longer needed. This city does something to you. It pushes back, it challenges you, it refuses to let you sleepwalk. I find that inspiring every single day. I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

I am a woman for women. An empath — which means I will feel what you feel the moment you walk in, and I will use that to bring out what you cannot yet see in yourself.

When you walk in front of my lens I am not looking at you. I am looking for you. The real you. The one that's been there the whole time. She's already there. I know how to find her.

This.

Something happens in a good session. Between you and me, between you and the camera — and eventually between you and whoever sees the images.

For a couple of hours, everything is about you. Your light, your movement, your story. You’re allowed to take up space like this.

My job is to make it feel effortless. Just bring your ideas, your energy, and be ready to play. The best sessions feel like a dance. I’ll lead, but I want you in it with me.

A lot of what makes a session work happens long before you ever walk in. Because I’ve been doing this since 2009, I’m not still figuring out the light or the pose or the angle while you’re standing there waiting. I already see it. Women who’ve worked with other photographers before are often surprised by how easy it all is — how quickly we move and how much we get in the time we have together.

Yes, you’ll leave with images you can use — for your work, your brand, your presence in the world. But what people don’t expect is how it feels to create them.

Because when you’re fully present (when you’re not performing, not second-guessing) that’s when a portrait becomes something else entirely.

The Details.

Where

Studio sessions: Who didn't dream of this as a little girl? Private, professionally appointed spaces in Manhattan, focused entirely on you. Open to personal branding, author portraits, boudoir, fine art, or a mix depending on what you bring to wear.

On-location sessions: Spectacular for boudoir and personal branding alike. Typically the client provides these locations, whether it be a luxury hotel suite or the use of their private residence. Every location requires my approval first — I need to make sure there’s enough room to actually work my magic. Additional fees may apply.

When

Time commitment: Plan for 2–3 hours. This is your time — we don't want to rush it.

How to Prepare

Hair & makeup: Arrive as yourself, polished and camera-ready. A makeup-artist isn't necessary — the women on this page all did their own. If you'd like the extra pampering or a little more glamour, I can connect you with artists I trust to come to you or to the studio before our session. Their fees are paid directly to them; any additional studio time is added to your session fee.

Wardrobe: Bring up to three complete looks. Think about layers to maximize a look — a jacket that comes off, a shirt that unbuttons. Layers give us variety without extra outfits. Include all accessories and shoes for each look. Bring extras so I can help you pick.

The Cost

Sessions begin at $550, with most clients investing in artwork and images they’ll live with for years. Full pricing on The Art & What It's Worth.

Booking: A 50% retainer holds your date. The remainder is due day-of.

After your session

You'll receive a curated proofing gallery of fully retouched images to select from. We'll talk through your portrait product needs from there — digitals, fine art prints (framed or unframed), albums, and anything else.

Retouching

Every image in your proofing gallery has been retouched, color processed, and skin smoothed before you ever see it. Selected images receive a final fine-tuning pass before delivery. And a note on my retouching philosophy: you'll look like yourself - polished, not plastic. I retain skin texture, natural features, everything that makes you recognizably you. What I remove is distraction. What I keep is character.

Her.

That woman you've been meaning to become?

She's not waiting for you to be thinner, or younger, or more put-together.

She's just waiting for you to show up.

Let’s go find her together.

I’ll see you soon.
