Skills:
Graphic Design | Branding | Logo Adaptation | Event Design | Client Collaboration | Visual Storytelling

Overview:
Fiji Water hired me to adapt their logo for sponsorship of The Palms’ Midsummer Night’s Dream Party hosted by Playboy. The objective was to create a themed “crested” version of their logo that tied into the event’s decadent and theatrical atmosphere while keeping the brand’s identity intact.

Design Solutions:

  • Logo Adaptation: I selected and customized a stock crest illustration to frame the Fiji Water logo, refining it to complement the brand’s established typography and color palette.

  • Brand Alignment: The crest was tailored to preserve the clean, premium aesthetic of Fiji Water while adding a sense of fantasy and playfulness that matched the event theme.

  • Practical Application: The final logo crest was versatile, working seamlessly across event signage and promotional collateral.

Key Considerations:

  • Respecting Fiji Water’s luxury positioning while introducing thematic embellishments.

  • Using stock assets strategically, ensuring they felt intentional and on-brand rather than generic.

  • Balancing visual impact with recognizability of the core logo.

Impact & Value:
The adapted crest design elevated Fiji Water’s presence at a high-profile cultural event, creating a strong visual connection between the brand and the event’s atmosphere. This project demonstrates my ability to:

  • Creatively adapt existing brand assets for unique contexts.

  • Make strategic use of stock illustration while maintaining brand integrity.

  • Deliver polished, event-specific logo treatments under client direction.

Key Takeaway:
This project highlights my ability to translate established brand identities into themed event contexts by using thoughtful design adaptation and customization.
